Non non le DS ne deviendra pas le nouveau National Geographic en vous présentant Mount McKinley. D’ailleurs, il ne s’agit pas de mont non plus… Quoique le terme « sommet » pourrait être plus approprié à ce duo. Car aux guitare et voix Dylan White et à la batterie Joe Bland, n’en font pas des montagnes et c’est bien là que la recette est réussie. Pas besoin ici de multiples effets et multiples instruments pour que leurs compositions se trouvent à la hauteur, des titres longtemps mûris et travaillés suffisent à me donner le vertige. Je n’ai jamais eu peur du vide et je suis amoureux des montagnes depuis longtemps déjà. Je vais donc tout naturellement m’encorder avec eux, avec Ian et Jheri qui m’ont ouvert le chemin, afin de gravir ensemble le sommet… L’ascension de Mount McKinley !

No, no, DS won’t be the new National Geographic presenting you Mount McKinley. And by the way, this is not about a mount. Though the word « top » would be more appropriate for this duet. Dylan White sings and plays guitar, Joe Bland plays drums and they don’t make a mountain out of a molehill, and that’s why their reciepe is a success. No need of lots of instruments and lots of effects so their songs are up to it, they give much time to their songs to gestate and be polished and that’s enough to make me feel dizzy. I’ve never been scared of heights, and I’m in love with mountains for a long time now. So it’s natural to me to rope up with them and Ian and Jheri who showed me the way, to climb together to the top… Ascent of Mount McKinley !
