Vehicle Blues est un terreau contre le vacarme vrombissant. Mélangeant le style noise, drone, punk et rock. Une sorte de combustibles pour grosse cylindrée, nouveau carburant pour le trafic. Et puis, et puis surtout il y a un titre qui se dégage de l’album, le premier d’ailleurs, « Punks On Transit », qui ouvre la voie comme une sortie d’autoroute. Il suffit alors de prendre la bretelle « Sortie Chicago », où l’on entends au loin la voix de Gabe Holcombe. Là, pour moi c’est comme s’il n’y avait plus personne au volant, je me suis engagé en pilote automatique… Guidé … En titre phare, comme à la lumière des projecteurs éclairant la route, au loin les lumières des foyers scintillant de milles feux… A bord de ce véhicule sans que je m’en aperçoive, j’ai avalé les kilomètres à vitesse grand V, et si vous aussi désirez essayer le modèle, rendez-vous chez le très bon concessionnaire Bridgetown Records.

Vehicle Blues is compost against huming racket. Mixing noisy, drone, punk and rock styles. A kind of fuel for big-engined car, new oil for traffic. And then, and then above all, there’s a song emerging from the album, the first one actually, « Punks On Transit », which shows the way like a highway turnoff. You just have to take the highway access road « Chicago », from where you can hear, far away, the voice of Gabe Holcombe. And to me,  it’s like if nobody was holding the steering wheel, it’s autopilot… Guided… A song like a leading light, with headlights to see the road and far away the lights of homes, shining brightly… In this car, I didn’t notice it, but I’ve made a light work of distances at the double.
