Mélant avec brio les airs de jazz tout en attachant une attention particulière à la musique folk sous influence psychédélique (oui cela fait beaucoup de genres j’en conviens), Woset, avec Tree Lines (gracieusement offert par ici), nous offre un opus qu’il sera difficile d’oublier…  La musicalité proposée par Woset me rappelle étrangement celle des Dirty Projectors sans la folie les accompagnant et sans les vocales féminines. Nous restons là bien ancrés, sans superlatifs et mes propos ne sont point péjoratifs quand je m’exprime ainsi. On ne construit pas une pyramide en une nuit et c’est encore plus rare de la voir disparaitre aussi subitement. Car la musique de Woset a été longtemps travaillée, fouillée et tout est fait ici pour durer et haut monter…

Mixing with style jazz melodies and paying special attention to folk music under a psychedelic influence (yes I know it’s a lot of genres) Woset, with Tree Lines ( for free here ), offers us a record we won’t forget soon. Their musicality recalls me of Dirty Projectors, without the buzz and the feminine vocals. We stay here, without superlatives and my words aren’t pejorative. You don’t build a pyramid in one night and it won’t disappear so easily. Woset music has been long time worked and all of this is meant to last and to get real high.
