On aurait pu croire au retour d’un groupe oublié des années 60… Celui que vous découvrez au détour d’un vieux vinyl déniché au grenier de vos parents. Il en est rien, d’ailleurs ce n’est point un groupe mais les performances d’un seul homme : Rory McClure. Et quelle performance ! Une pop « romance » aux multiples voix… Et cette pop d’antan n’a pas une ride, elle a même pris de l’ampleur et du corps avec ce projet tout récent. Shimmering Stars est chatoyant et ses compositions resplendissantes de jeunesse ! Longue vie à cette rutilante étoile…

We could have thought it was the return of a forgotten band from the 60’s… The one you find in your parents’ attic, an old vinyl. But not at all, anyway it’s not a band, it’s one man’s performances: Rory McClure. And what a performance ! A « romance » pop with several voices… This old pop hasn’t dated in the slightest, it even has now much scope and shape with this recent project. Shimmering Stars is gleaming and its writings shine with youth ! Long live to this sparkling star…
