Après Gemini, un album à vous faire décroché la lune, Jack Tatum aka Wild Nothing nous revient avec un EP (3 chansons inédites) fait encore une fois de pop vagabonde et terriblement efficace. La sortie d’Evertide (en 75 exemplaires seulement) annonce également la naissance de Warmest Chord, nouveau label anglais, joliment et délicatement illustré. Exclusivement dédié aux petits formats, les sorties ne seront « que » digitales mais accompagnées par des illustrations d’artistes. Cette fois, c’est Franz Vesolt qui est à la page…

Gemini is a record for doing the impossible! Since that, Jack Tatum aka Wild Nothing comes back to us with a new EP « Evertide », a vagrant and terribly effective pop. The release is  now available in a limited edition of only 75 copies. It is announcing the birth of Warmest Chord, a new British label, nicely and delicately illustrated. Exclusively dedicated in small formats, it will be also a digital album with some artists illustrations. This time, it is Franz Vesolt who designed the release’s screenprint, and we love it.

Non non la Pop, avec un grand P, n’est point morte et c’est Wild Nothing avec son «  Summer Holiday  » qui nous le prouve. Cette envie d’ouvrir la fenêtre, de voir défiler le paysage, pendant qu’une main se dépose sur le volant de la vieille P(eugeot 404)… Jack Tatum officiant dans le groupe Jack and The Whale prend ici la route en solo pour notre plus grand plaisir.

No, Pop with a big P, is not dead yet and it’s Wild Nothing with its «  Summer Holiday  » that shows it to us. This need to open the window, to see the countryside past, while a hand is put down the steering wheel of the old P(eugeot 404)… Jack Tatum, who’s playing in the band Jack and The Whale drives alone here, for our greatest joy.
